Air Fryer Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos

Easy and flavorful Air Fryer Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos with a creamy sauce and crunchy toppings that will make your taste buds dance!

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (or to taste)
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. Start by patting your shrimp dry with a paper towel. In a bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Take each shrimp and dredge it in the flour mixture, coating it thoroughly.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Toss the coated shrimp with olive oil until evenly coated, then place in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the shrimp are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Mix together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha in a small bowl for the Bang Bang sauce.
  7. Warm your tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  8. Assemble the tacos by adding shredded cabbage, grated carrot, Bang Bang shrimp, and a drizzle of the sauce along with lime juice.

Notes

For a lighter option, replace mayonnaise with Greek yogurt. Adjust sriracha based on heat preference.
