Avocado Mango Salad

A bright and vibrant salad featuring creamy avocados and sweet mangoes, perfect for any occasion.

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 mangoes (chopped)
  • 2 avocados (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons red onion (diced)
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping your mangoes and avocados into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Dice the red onion and chop the cilantro.
  3. Make the dressing by whisking together the olive oil, lime juice, honey, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Mix the mango pieces, avocado, red onion, and cilantro in a large bowl.
  5. Pour the dressing over the mango and avocado mixture and toss gently.
  6. Taste it and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes if time allows or serve immediately.

Notes

Optional: Add diced pineapple for a tropical twist or toasted nuts for crunch.
