Avocado and Mango Salad

A vibrant and refreshing salad featuring avocados, mangoes, and fresh herbs, perfect for brightening up any meal.

  • 2 medium avocados
  • 1 large mango
  • 1 small red onion
  • 1 jalapeño pepper
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper

Instructions

  1. Chop the fruits: Carefully cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Cut into bite-sized pieces. Peel the mango, slice around the pit, and chop into cubes.
  2. Dice the onion and pepper: Finely chop the red onion and jalapeño pepper.
  3. Mix the ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, gently combine the chopped avocados, mango, red onion, jalapeño, and fresh cilantro.
  4. Dress the salad: In a small bowl, whisk lime juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Pour over the salad and toss to coat.
  5. Taste and adjust: Give the salad a gentle taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  6. Serve with joy: Transfer to a serving dish or onto individual plates.

Notes

Store any leftovers tightly covered and consume within a day to prevent browning. A bit of extra lime juice can help.
