  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9-inch round pie dish with butter.
  3. Whisk together the flour and sugar, then add eggs one at a time, whisking after each addition.
  4. Pour in the milk while whisking until smooth.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
  6. Layer the sliced apples evenly in the greased dish.
  7. Pour the batter over the apples.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  9. Cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
