Blueberry Peach Crumble

A delightful summer dessert featuring fresh blueberries and peaches, topped with a buttery crumble.

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the fresh blueberries and sliced peaches in a large mixing bowl. Add the granulated sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon, and gently toss.
  3. Pour the fruit mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. Mix the flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly.
  6. Sprinkle the crumble topping over the fruit layer.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes until the fruit is bubbling and topping is golden brown.
  8. Cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
