Buttery Garlic Corn on the Cob

A delicious and nostalgic summer treat featuring fresh corn on the cob, slathered in garlic butter.

Ingredients

  • 4 ears of corn on the cob
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the corn by husking it and removing the outer leaves and silk.
  2. Boil a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil and carefully add the ears of corn.
  3. Make the garlic butter by melting unsalted butter in a saucepan over low heat, adding minced garlic, and sautéing for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Combine the drained corn and pour the garlic butter over, then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Optional variations include adding Parmesan cheese, chili-lime seasoning, or making the recipe vegan with plant-based butter.
