Chili Lime Chicken

A zesty and flavorful grilled chicken recipe marinated in lime and spices, perfect for family gatherings or a quick weeknight meal.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken by combining lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Whisk it together and coat the chicken, then cover and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat your grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
  3. Grill the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on one side until edges turn golden brown.
  4. Flip and grill for another 6-7 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before cutting.

Notes

For extra flavor, serve with cilantro-lime rice or fresh corn salsa. You can also customize the recipe with different spices or herbs.
