These Crispy Chicken Caesar Salad Wraps are a delicious twist on a classic comfort food, combining crispy chicken with fresh romaine and creamy Caesar dressing in a portable tortilla.

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated (for dressing)
  • 4 large flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Season the chicken strips with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a bowl.
  3. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan.
  4. Dip the chicken in flour, then the egg, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Place the chicken on the tray, spray with cooking spray, and bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
  7. Grate Parmesan cheese and set aside for garnish.
  8. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, lemon juice, and Parmesan for dressing.
  9. Toss the romaine with Caesar dressing until well-coated.
  10. Warm the tortillas in a pan for a few seconds to make them pliable.
  11. Lay a tortilla flat, add dressed romaine, crispy chicken, and more Parmesan.
  12. Fold in the sides and roll it up tightly.
  13. Slice the wraps in half and serve with extra dressing drizzled on top.
