Oven Roasted Kohlrabi with Parmesan

A delightful oven-roasted kohlrabi dish sprinkled with Parmesan, bringing rustic flavors to your table.

Ingredients

  • Kohlrabi (1 large, peeled and cut into cubes)
  • Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
  • Parmesan cheese (1/4 cup, grated)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Garlic powder (1 teaspoon)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Toss kohlrabi with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Spread the seasoned kohlrabi onto a baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Roast for about 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  5. Add the grated Parmesan over the roasted kohlrabi and return to the oven for another 5 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

For extra crispy kohlrabi, broil for the last 2-3 minutes. Experiment with seasonings like red pepper flakes or fresh herbs for variations.
