Croziflette

A creamy, cheesy delight capturing the essence of rustic cooking, perfect for warm gatherings around the table.

Ingredients

  • Crozets (small pasta)
  • Crème fraîche
  • Reblochon cheese
  • Onions
  • Bacon or lardons
  • Garlic
  • Fresh thyme

Instructions

  1. Prep the Crozets by boiling a large pot of salted water. Add the crozets and cook until al dente, about 10 minutes.
  2. Sauté the onions and bacon by heating oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook until soft, then add bacon and cook until crispy.
  3. Add garlic and thyme, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Combine with crème fraîche by draining the crozets and mixing them in the skillet until coated. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with reblochon cheese.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling and golden brown.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute crème fraîche with Greek yogurt or sour cream. Easily prepare in advance by assembling and refrigerating before baking.
