Easy Homemade Cherry Crumble

A delightful cherry crumble recipe that evokes childhood memories, filled with sweet cherries and a crumbly topping.

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cherries, pitted
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare your baking dish by greasing it lightly.
  3. Work on the cherries by pitting and chopping fresh ones or thawing frozen ones, adding sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Make the crumble topping by mixing oats, flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and salt, then drizzling with melted butter.
  5. Assemble the dish by pouring the cherry mixture into the greased baking dish and topping with the crumble mixture.
  6. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Cool for a few minutes before serving.
