Classic Cherry Pie

A delicious and classic cherry pie made with fresh cherries and a buttery crust, perfect for summer celebrations.

  • 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Combine cherries, sugar, flour, and lemon juice in a bowl. Fold gently to coat the cherries in the mixture.
  3. Pour the cherry mixture into the pie crust and cover with a second crust. Cut slits in the top for ventilation.
  4. Bake for about 45 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cherries are bubbly.

Notes

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top for an extra treat!
