Grilled Honey Mustard Chicken

A sweet and savory grilled chicken dish with a honey mustard marinade that evokes warm memories and delicious flavors.

  • 4 chicken breasts, skinless and boneless
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the honey, Dijon mustard, and olive oil in a medium bowl and whisk until well blended.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken into a zip-top bag or dish and pour the marinade over it, coating well.
  4. Marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.
  5. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  6. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on one side, brush with reserved marinade, then flip and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Slice and arrange the chicken on a platter, drizzling extra honey on top and garnishing with fresh herbs.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different chicken cuts or add spices like cayenne or herbs to the marinade for variation.
