Halloween Ghost Madeleines

Delightful Halloween-themed madeleines dressed as ghosts, perfect for festive gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 200g flour (all-purpose or gluten-free)
  • 150g sugar (or coconut sugar)
  • 100g butter, melted (or coconut oil)
  • 3 large eggs (or flax eggs)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (or almond extract)
  • A pinch of salt
  • White chocolate for coating
  • Chocolate chips for eyes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Prepare your madeleine molds by greasing them.
  3. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  4. Blend the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla in another bowl.
  5. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fill the molds about 2/3 full with batter.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool the madeleines in the molds for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. Coat the tops with melted white chocolate.
  10. Add chocolate chips for eyes while the chocolate is still warm.

Notes

Dust with powdered sugar for a spooky touch. Use different molds for creativity.
