Refreshing Homemade Peach Tea

A refreshing homemade peach tea that captures the essence of summer with juicy peaches and sweet black tea, perfect for warm days.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 2 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pour the 4 cups of water into a medium-sized pot and bring it to a rolling boil.
  2. Add the 4 black tea bags to the boiling water and steep for 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. Slice the peaches in half, remove the pits, and cut them into thin wedges.
  4. Remove the tea bags, add the sliced peaches and sugar, and stir until the sugar dissolves.
  5. Let the tea cool to room temperature before refrigerating for at least an hour.
  6. Pour the chilled peach tea over ice cubes and garnish with mint.

Notes

Experiment with variations: try mixing with lemonade or adding fresh mint during steeping for extra flavor.
