How To Easily Cut A Watermelon

A simple and fun guide to effortlessly cut and enjoy a juicy watermelon.

Ingredients

  • 1 large watermelon
  • A large cutting board
  • A sharp knife
  • A bowl or platter

Instructions

  1. Wash the Watermelon by rinsing it under cool water.
  2. Find the Right Cutting Position by placing the cutting board on a stable surface.
  3. Cut Off the Ends by slicing about an inch from both ends of the watermelon.
  4. Cut in Half by standing the watermelon upright and slicing it down the middle.
  5. Slice into Wedges by placing one half cut-side down and cutting it into quarters.
  6. Remove the Rind by slicing between the flesh and the rind of a wedge.
  7. Serve and Enjoy! Place watermelon slices in a bowl or platter.

Notes

For easier handling, mini watermelons can be used. If it gets messy, place parchment paper under the cutting board to catch juice.
