Homemade Cherry Lemonade

A refreshing drink that perfectly balances sweet and tart flavors, ideal for warm summer days.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sweet cherries, pitted
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cherries by washing them thoroughly, removing the stems and pits.
  2. Blend the pitted cherries in a blender until smooth to make a cherry purée.
  3. Strain the cherry purée using a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher.
  4. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and sugar to the pitcher, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  5. Mix in the water, adjusting based on your taste preferences.
  6. Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices or a cherry on top.

Notes

This recipe can be modified with sparkling water for a fizzy twist or herbs for added flavor.
