  1. Prepare the peaches: Start by washing and peeling your peaches, then chop them into small pieces.
  2. Mix ingredients: In a large pot, combine your chopped peaches, sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Let it sit for about 30 minutes.
  3. Cook the mixture: Place the pot over medium heat and bring the peaches to a gentle boil, stirring occasionally.
  4. Mash and thicken: Once the peaches are soft, mash them to your desired consistency and continue to cook for another 10-20 minutes.
  5. Testing for doneness: Place a spoonful on a chilled plate; if it holds its shape, it’s ready!
  6. Canning the jam: Pour the hot jam into sterilized jars and process them in a boiling water bath for 5-10 minutes.
  7. Cool and enjoy: Let your jars cool at room temperature for 24 hours.
