5-Ingredient Smoothie Bowls to Energize Your Mornings

  • 1 cup frozen fruit (berries, mango, or banana)
  • 2 tablespoons nut or seed butter
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt or plant-based alternative
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup plant milk or water
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, 1 handful baby spinach, 1 inch fresh ginger, 1 teaspoon blue spirulina
  • Toppings: 1 cup fresh fruit & berries, 1/2 cup granola, nuts & seeds

Instructions

  1. Blend your 1 cup frozen fruit, 2 tablespoons nut or seed butter, 1 cup Greek yogurt or plant-based alternative, and 1/2 cup oats. Pour in 1/2 cup plant milk or water.
  2. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness or add optional ingredients as desired.
  4. Pour into a bowl and let your artistic flair shine!
  5. Top with fresh fruits, granola, and nuts. Drizzle with honey or agave if desired.

Notes

Store leftover mixture in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Add a splash of milk or water if it thickens.
