  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • Optional: powdered sugar for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grab a medium-sized baking dish and grease it with butter.
  3. Peel and slice your apples into thin wedges.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the flour into your mixture, whisking until well-blended.
  6. Arrange your apple slices evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  7. Pour the batter over the apples.
  8. Slide the clafoutis into the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
