Crumble aux Pommes

A comforting and nostalgic Apple Crumble recipe that fills your kitchen with delightful aromas and warm memories.

  • 4 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 150g all-purpose flour
  • 100g unsalted butter, softened
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 50g rolled oats
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Peel and slice your apples into thin wedges.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, toss the sliced apples with half of the brown sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Combine the flour, oats, the remaining brown sugar, and softened butter in another bowl, mixing until crumbly.
  5. Grease a baking dish and layer the apple mixture at the bottom, then sprinkle the crumble topping over the apples.
  6. Place the dish in your preheated oven and bake for about 30 to 35 minutes.
  7. Let the crumble cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or caramel sauce for an extra treat.
