These Cherry Cheesecake Brownies combine rich chocolate brownies with a luscious cherry cheesecake layer, creating an indulgent dessert that’s perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for cheesecake layer)
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the melted butter and vegetable oil. Add in the sugar, cocoa powder, and eggs, mixing well after each addition.
  3. Pour about two-thirds of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan.
  4. Make the cheesecake mixture by beating the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until creamy. Add in the additional teaspoon of vanilla.
  5. Layer the cheesecake batter over the brownie base gently.
  6. Add the remaining brownie batter on top of the cheesecake layer in spoonfuls.
  7. Top with cherry pie filling evenly.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes, checking for doneness.
  9. Cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes before transferring to a wire rack and slicing.

Notes

These brownies can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge. They also freeze well for up to three months.
