Cream Cheese Cherry Pie

A delightful dessert blending cream cheese with sweet-tart cherries in a crispy graham cracker crust.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 prepared graham cracker crust
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Cool Whip
  • 1 can cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: If you’re using a store-bought graham cracker crust, skip this step! Otherwise, crush about 1 ½ cups of graham crackers until fine. Mix with ½ cup of melted butter until it resembles wet sand, then press it firmly into a pie plate. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes to set. Let it cool completely.
  2. Make the filling: In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the Cool Whip: Gently fold in the Cool Whip until evenly combined.
  4. Fill the crust: Pour the cream cheese filling into your cooled graham cracker crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  5. Top with cherry filling: Spoon the cherry pie filling over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Chill: Pop your pie in the fridge for at least 120-180 minutes to set.
  7. Serve and enjoy: Slice into this beauty and serve chilled.
