Keto Blueberry Lemon Iced Tea

A refreshing and delicious iced tea that’s low in carbs, sweetened with a sugar substitute and bursting with blueberry and lemon flavors.

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • ½ cup granulated sugar substitute (Swerve)
  • ⅓ cup fresh lemon juice
  • ⅓ cup water
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • 6 cups unsweetened iced tea
  • Optional: lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep your blueberries: Rinse them under cool water.
  2. Make the blueberry syrup: Combine blueberries, sugar substitute, water, and salt in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, mashing the blueberries until syrupy, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Combine with lemon juice: Stir in fresh lemon juice and let the mixture cool.
  4. Prepare your iced tea: Brew tea according to package instructions and let it cool.
  5. Mix it up: In a pitcher, combine cooled tea and blueberry-lemon mixture. Adjust sweetness if necessary.
  6. Serve over ice: Pour the iced tea into glasses, garnishing with lemon slices and reserved blueberries.

Notes

For a fizzy version, replace half of the iced tea with sparkling water. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
