Rustic Peach Cobbler

A delicious peach cobbler that captures the essence of summer with juicy peaches and a crispy topping.

  • 68 Fresh Peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Butter, melted
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour (for topping)
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder

Instructions

  1. Prep your peaches by washing, slicing, and pitting them.
  2. Mix the filling by combining peaches with sugar, lemon juice, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. Prepare the cobbler topping by mixing flour, sugar, butter, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Assemble by pouring peach filling into a buttered baking dish and dolloping topping over it.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Let the cobbler rest for 15-20 minutes before serving.
