Sweet Southern Peach Tea

A delightful blend of brewed black tea and fresh peaches, perfect for cooling down on a hot summer day.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 tea bags (black tea)
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup sugar (or to taste)
  • Ice
  • Mint leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil the water in a medium saucepan until it reaches a rolling boil.
  2. Steep the tea bags in the boiling water for about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Prepare the peaches by washing, peeling, and slicing them.
  4. Combine the sugar with the warm tea until dissolved.
  5. Add the sliced peaches to the sweetened tea.
  6. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2–3 hours.
  7. Serve the chilled tea over ice, garnishing with mint leaves if desired.
