Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs chicken breast, cubed
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, sliced
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Prep the Ingredients: Start by washing and chopping all your veggies. You want everything ready to go since stir-frying is a quick process.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: In a medium bowl, toss the cubed chicken breast with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of honey. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat the Pan: Grab a large skillet or wok and heat your sesame oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the Chicken: Once the oil is shimmering, add the marinated chicken to the pan. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently.
  5. Add the Veggies: Toss in your broccoli florets and sliced carrots. Stir it all together and let it sauté for another 3-5 minutes.
  6. Mix in the Sauce: Add the minced garlic, remaining soy sauce, and honey to the pan. Stir well to combine all the flavors.
  7. Plate and Serve: Remove from heat and serve over rice or noodles, garnished with sesame seeds or green onions.
