Homemade Peach Cobbler

A delicious peach cobbler that brings sunshine into your kitchen with sweet, juicy peaches and a warm buttery crust.

  • 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Toss the freshly sliced peaches with the sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl, then gradually add in the milk and melted butter.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Spoon the prepared peach mixture over the top, juice and all.
  6. Pop the dish into the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
