Peach Iced Tea

A refreshing peach iced tea that captures the essence of summer with sweet peaches and robust black tea.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 4 cups of brewed black tea, cooled
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew the black tea. Heat water in a kettle and bring it to a rolling boil.
  2. Cool the tea. Once brewed, remove tea bags or strain out loose tea and let it cool.
  3. Prepare the peaches. Slice fresh peaches into thin, even slices.
  4. Combine the cooled tea and sliced peaches in a pitcher. Stir.
  5. Sweeten to taste by adding sugar and stirring until dissolved.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  7. Serve by pouring the tea into glasses, adding ice cubes and reserved peach slices.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding mint leaves or serving with a slice of lemon.
