Peach Salsa

A vibrant and refreshing peach salsa bursting with sweetness and a hint of spice, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe peaches, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the peaches by washing them under cool running water, slicing in half, removing the pit, and chopping into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Chop the red onion finely and jalapeño with gloves if sensitive to heat.
  3. Combine diced peaches, red onion, minced jalapeño, and chopped cilantro in a mixing bowl.
  4. Squeeze lime juice over the mixture and season with salt to taste.
  5. Let the salsa rest for at least 20 minutes at room temperature to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

For variations, consider adding mango, pineapple, or berries for different twists. Can be made ahead and stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
