Cinnamon Sugar Baked Peaches

A heartwarming dessert featuring fresh peaches baked with cinnamon and sugar for a comforting treat.

Ingredients

  • Fresh peaches (4-6)
  • Brown sugar (1/4 cup)
  • Ground cinnamon (1 teaspoon)
  • Unsalted butter (2 tablespoons)
  • Vanilla extract (1 teaspoon)
  • Chopped nuts (optional, 1/4 cup)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Wash your peaches thoroughly and slice them in half.
  3. Place the peach halves in a greased baking dish, cut side up.
  4. Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl until well combined.
  5. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the peach halves.
  6. Cut the butter into small pieces and place on top of each peach half.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes until tender and golden.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
