Transforming Leftover Burgers

Delightful recipes to creatively use leftover burger patties, turning them into heartwarming meals.

Ingredients

  • Leftover burger patties (beef, chicken, turkey, or veggie)
  • Pasta (penne or rotini)
  • Cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • Sautéed vegetables (bell peppers, spinach)
  • Taco shells (hard or soft)
  • Fresh lettuce and diced tomatoes
  • Bell peppers for stuffing
  • Cooked rice or quinoa
  • Spices (Italian seasoning, chili powder)
  • Gravy
  • Mash potatoes
  • Pizza dough
  • Pizza sauce and additional toppings (bell peppers, olives)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for casseroles and tacos, 375°F (190°C) for stuffed peppers, and 400°F (200°C) for shepherd’s pie.
  2. Crumble the leftover burger patties in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Cook your pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  4. Sauté onions and any other vegetables until soft. Add the crumbled burgers and cooked pasta.
  5. Stir in cheese and pour everything into a casserole dish. Bake for 25–30 minutes.
  6. Assemble taco shells with crumbled burgers and cheese, then bake for 10 minutes.
  7. Stuff bell peppers with the burger and rice mixture, bake for 30–40 minutes.
  8. Sauté onions, carrots, and peas for shepherd’s pie, mix with gravy, and layer with mashed potatoes. Bake for 25–30 minutes.
  9. Roll out pizza dough, add sauce, cheese, and crumbled burgers, then bake according to dough instructions.
