Ingredients

Scale
  • 68 ripe large peaches (about 3 pounds)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for peach puree)
  • 1/2 cup water (for peach puree)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (for peach puree)
  • 1 1/2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice (from 810 medium lemons)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for simple syrup)
  • 1 cup water (for simple syrup)
  • 46 cups cold water (for dilution)
  • Fresh peach slices (for garnish)
  • Lemon wheels or wedges (for garnish)
  • Fresh mint sprigs (for garnish)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Wash & Slice Peaches: Start by washing your peaches under cold water, gently rubbing off any dirt. Slice them in half and remove the pits.
  2. Blend to Perfection: In a blender, add the sliced peaches, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup of water, and 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice. Blend until smooth and velvety.
  3. Combine Sugar & Water: In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar completely dissolves.
  4. Cool Down: Once the syrup has cooled, set it aside.
  5. Combine Ingredients: In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice, peach puree, and simple syrup. Stir well.
  6. Dilute with Cold Water: Add 4-6 cups of cold water to the pitcher, depending on your taste preference.
  7. Chill Out: Let your lemonade chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to an hour.
  8. Serve It Up: Fill tall glasses with ice cubes, pour the peach lemonade over the ice, and garnish each glass with fresh peach slices, lemon wedges, and a sprig of mint.
