Spicy Honey BBQ Chicken Wraps

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 4 large tortillas or wraps
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cheese, shredded (optional)
  • 1/4 cup red onion, sliced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Shred your cooked chicken. If you’re using rotisserie, simply pull it apart using two forks.
  2. Mix BBQ sauce and honey in a large bowl. Taste and adjust if needed.
  3. Add the shredded chicken to the BBQ-honey mixture and stir until well-coated.
  4. Add cayenne pepper to the mixture, starting with a teaspoon and adjusting for heat.
  5. Lay out your tortillas on a clean surface.
  6. Add about 1/2 cup of the chicken mixture to each wrap.
  7. Top with shredded lettuce, cheese, and red onions (if using).
  8. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up tightly.
  9. Cut the wraps in half and enjoy or serve with extra dipping sauce on the side.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with variations such as adding black beans, corn, or using buffalo sauce for a spicy kick. These wraps can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge.
