A delicious and nutritious chocolate smoothie that feels like dessert but is perfect for breakfast or as a snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by gathering all items on your countertop.
  2. Add the banana and break it into chunks before adding it to the blender.
  3. In goes the cocoa powder over the banana.
  4. Pour in the milk to help the ingredients blend.
  5. Add the Greek yogurt for thickness and protein.
  6. Sweeten the mixture with honey.
  7. Blend on high for about 30-60 seconds until smooth.
  8. Taste test and adjust sweetness or thickness as desired.
  9. Serve your smoothie in a tall glass and enjoy!

Notes

Smoothie can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for an hour. Adjust thickness with additional milk as needed.
